Conservation Status:
This species is listed as Vulnerable in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (https://www.iucnredlist.org/).According to IUCN Red List assessment, population of this endemic species is stable. It is estimated that there are about 1000 mature individuals surviving in wild. Major threats to its survival come from habitat loss and fragmentation due to human activities such as agricultural expansion, logging, mining, residential and commercial development and occassional hunting/trapping.
